I am back from Virginia. Thank god. What an awful place that was. Roanoke is a dump. The plane ride was a buddy holly special from atlanta. The heat was awful the hummidity sucked. The people were different but at the same time very nice.
All that to say I love san diego and do not want to live anywhere else Who else has home town pride?

Well for me, hometown pride is having fond memories of a place that I lived most of my life. And even better yet I am making so many new memories that are so great I will remember them forever. My kid is going to be going to school this year at the same school that I went to school when I was a kid. How awsome is that.

Here is why hometown pride is dumb.
Because, if by hometown, you mean the place your parents brought you to, then you had no choice. It's as stupid as having pride in your race. There is no reason to have pride in something you've had no control or part in. If you have pride in where you live now, because you've worked hard to get there, and you moved far from where your parents are, then cool. But if you live in the same area, fuck it.

There he goes again with his negative ramblings...
I love my hometown, and I'm very grateful to have been born here. I live right by my church's headquarters, there isn't a lot of crime, and every street reminds me when I was a little girl. I love it, love my hometown... PEACE LOVE EMPATHY -Noodles
