So..
I've caught wind of a remake, with Billy Bob Thornton as Freddy. I heard this from Robert Englund last August- but he was also drunk, so it may not actually be truthful. Regardless, everyone knows a remake is bound to happen sometime! Pathetic.

The originals were pretty stupid in and of themselves.

I loved the first one since I was a child- but they're definitely not movies to take seriously as far as "good" movies go. I get a comedic kick out of them. They're creative, if anything.

They gradually got worse and worse, so I am not looking forward to seeing Fred again.

The only remakes I'm interested in are: Poltergeist, and the Wolfman appearing sometime next year.

I have no interest in Poltergeist, but the Wolfman certainly looks like it might be interesting! I love the director that's coordinating it as well.

Yeah and Anthony Hopkins is in it, so that adds to the appeal. As far as Poltergeist, it was one of my favorite horror films when I was little, and well I'm not excited about a remake, but I suppose curious more so.
