Default Has anyone ever heard of The Clash?

The guitarist and singer used to play in a band called Joe Strummer & the Mescaleroes. They're really good.

I heard they were inspired by Rancid and The Police.

Are they any good? Should I go out and buy their entire catalogue?

No, just check out "Cut the Crap", it should be considered a greatest hits album, as it contains all of their best stuff.

They are headlining the Warped Tour 2009 with the all original lineup.
(Though they had to change their name for legal purposes to:
Weekend at Toppers)
