Default I just added more ammo to my arsenal...

I got myself a porcelain Joe Perry Boneyard Slide for my guitar...

I was thinking about getting a couple more slides, but before I do...
How much of a sound difference is there between Brass, Steel, Glass and Porcelain?

If there isn't much difference, i'll just stick to the one I got.

I've never used a slide. Probably should.

That thing is sweet. Real bone?

There is a different definition in pitch and tone. That's all really in my opinion. They do all for the most part sound alike.

i have a glass one and a steel one, the steel one is a bit sharper, but i personly don't see too big of a difference in them.

Ok then....
I'll just stick to the one. Only problem, Porcelain is pretty delicate.

I hate metal slides. They never fit my fingers correctly. They're either too long, too short, or too tight.

I've found slides I like in all other types, though.

Try them all, as they all sound different!

the small mom & pop guitar shops I go to are kinda stingy with letting you try out slides..

To the young ones anyway...
I think they think that i'll fuck up the merch.

they're really not too much money, if you like using a slide it might be decent to have a few around i think i paid a total of 15 bucks for both of mine
