As a group we Older Punk never really called stuff Oi/Ska/Crust while I'll give you that we did use terms like Skins,Mods,Rudies and Punkers but that was more in how you dressed but you would find Mods,Skins,Rudies and Punkers at the same show all the time.

Well to tell you the truth some of the labels people use are pretty confusing to me. I hear a band and like it and that's about it for me. Some stuff I consider punk gets labeled as some sub division and I don't get how it is placed there. But I see the reason for it. Now more punk bands exist than ever before and labels can be helpful if your trying to find something you like or they can be completely annoying when they are not accurate.

A Global Threat Dosnt sound like the aquabats.

Hence why you need to break it up to clearify what your talking aboot.
