God Damn, this has GOT to stop. These guys come back from the military with all of their training , become cops, and somehow can't tell the difference in what they are doing in OUR country and the one they fought in. Happens after every war, and it always happens to the black folks, or at least they get the shit end of it, cryin' shame.

Cmon Adam... i figured you smarter than to fall for the Treyvon bullshit. Did you see the pics of Zimmerman's head all scraped from being smashed against the pavement? Little treyvon's not so innocent.
Of course there are injustices and some decisions that could be considered bad after the fact. I really think people don't understand how hard it is being in the police's shoes making these decisions.
As for the comment made about racial profiling... well if the shoe fits right? I've been screwed with the by the police for being a skinhead. I don't cry about it. I choose to look the way i do and i accept the consequences. If you're hispanic, shave your head and dress like a cholo it's the same thing... It's not like some upstanding black youth gets shot for looking shady. It's some criminal black youth gets shot for acting shady.

I can't believe you took that remark seriously. It was meant as gallows humor. (OOh! I said gallows! I must be a racist now because I made an indirect reference to a hangman's noose) No, but seriously, I'd kill for a can of watermelon flavored Ice Tea and a bag of Skittles about now! (Just jokes people, just like my Zimmerman comment!!) As much as people may not like your point of view, you are right in the fact that racial profiling is a two way street. If I get caught walking around in an all black neighborhood by the cops, they're gonna automatically assume that I'm there to score drugs. I can remember the days when everybody believed what they saw about punk rockers on Quincy and CHiPS. I got hassled by the police a bunch of times in the early to mid 1980s because of it. I was even roughed up by the C.P.D. at a Jody Foster's Army show in 1983 because the cops didn't like the way me and my friends looked. Not every cop is corrupt or racist or whatever, but it seems to me from where I'm standing that the honest cops aren't speaking out and exposing the dirty ones, color of skin notwithstanding.

I know the zimmerman shit being brought up was a joke, but just for the record to racist asshole up there, Zimmerman is NOT a cop, and even if the kid was bashing his head, it's after the dude ADMITEDLY harrassed and then FOLLOWED the kid, WHOSE DAD OWNS A HOUSE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, if you were walking around your OWN STREET and some random dude asked you, "where are you going?, what are you up to?" and then starts following you home you might think you need to turn around and confront a mother fucker as well, it doesn't justify him being shot AT ALL!
