I think that the water in your area and the coffee you end up with have some thing to say. and how you brew it. I just drink the cheap stuff but sometime organic if I can afford it. there is a world of difference in taste. however as long as my coffee is not cold. has no milk or sugar in it. and wakes me up I am happy.

or, if you want to try, the most expensive coffee of the world, the kopi luwak. it is taken from the shit of a small animal in indonesia. the animal eat it, partially digest the beans, then when they defecate them, some people go and take the remainings of the beans, roast them and brew them. so you can have your coffee.

I only drink short black espressos, i used to have a decent manual machine but found it's too much of a pain in the ass to get the coffee consistent cup to cup when you're half awake... and I only make coffee when in zombie mode. So i caved a few years ago and got a nespresso machine. It rocks. But I always feel so out of place buying capsules in that yuppie shop.... Whatever. I like it!
