Default I Feel Awful

Over the past 3 1/2 weeks (since my cat Manny died) my health has taken a nosedive. First I lost my appetite and stopped eating and drinking, which is kinda understandable. Then I got a migraine which lasted for about 3 days. Now I've got a urinary tract infection and am taking antibiotics for it. I was drinking tons of cranberry juice for it and taking extra vitamin C, but one of the vitamin C pills got caught in my throat now I have esophagitis (inflamtion of the esophagus resulting in painful and difficult swallowing). The esophagitis gotten better - I can eat solid foods now, just not very much. And when I bent over a few days ago to lace up my boots, I threw out my back.

I've never had so many health issues all happen at the same or almost the same time.

That is sad to hear.

I think its the loss that makes your immune system do down. I had the same way when I lost my dog. spend a year trying to get over it. just that she where so sick and I could do nothing about it haunt me to this day.

think you should take a break for some time . and try some good walks in nature and eat as well as you can and get everything together again.

hope you feel better soon.

have my sympathies.

also I have a suggestion for the migraine if that is something you have a lot. try eating basil. it worked for me. I was almost unable to support myself from migraine everyday for two years. I started to eat basil and it suddenly stopped. basil has been used against migraines for hundreds of years I found out later. it actually does work. just eat it everyday in your food.

Not eating caused the migraine; not drinking fluids caused the urinary tract infection; trying to treat the UTI at home resulted in the esophagitis; and not doing my back exercises ('cause the last thing you want to do with a UTI is anything that's going to put more pressure on your bladder) is what led to me throwing out my back again.

I used to read accounts of people who's loved ones dying and then them dying shortly thereafter and wondering what caused them to die so suddenly? Now I know.

Thank you for the suggestion! I like basil (it's great in spaghetti sauce!) and will start using it daily now!

yes it is. try use it everything you can imagine and best if you use fresh leaves. but use a hand full everyday or so.. if you can. three months and it should work.

I did this around three years ago. I found it to taste good so I ate it in everything and grow the plants myself. then after three months it took away the migraines and I did not know it was working this way. I researched a bit and found it to have been used for many hundred years for that purpose.

three years after I had not have nothing but one single attack that I had a shot of morphine from but before that I had attacks almost everyday. for two years. I lost 40 kilos that period. that was killing me.

I hope you feel better soon. UTI's are no fun at all. I hope the basil works for your migraines too.
