Default hows do you guys keep up with bands and such?
Ive been having trouble these days staying up to date with new bands and what current bands are doing since myspace went dead. what have you guys been doing to stay up to date?

I didn't know myspace was dead, but anyway i go to gigs and meet them, for the rest it's all in this forum, which is also a good source of info...

not to many bands use myspace these days i guess . just about everytime i check out a bands page they havent logged in for months or even maybe years.

I guess just searching. Mostly through Youtube and last.fm.
I miss myspace, I wish it would go back to the way it was around 2008.

ya i loved myspace music it died forever ago and when they made it my_____ it got worse i cant find shit either it sucks

Yeah, I'm actually still on my space, but I'm thinking of deleting my account. If I use Safari to log in, the site crashes. If I use Firefox, I have to re-load the page before I can respond to a PM or a bulletin. I'm NEVER going back to Face Book!

But we're getting off topic here. Usually, I hear about new bands through flyers, or I just go to shows and listen to the scuttlebut going around.

I usually discover new bands out playing live. Barrio Tiger was pretty rockin' last night. Established bands facebook me with updates.

I used to keep up just by going to lots of shows but they have got a bit thin on the ground round my way now Mostly these days it's down to sharing youtube links on facebook.
