The New Face of Texas Hardcore: The Poisons

We're from the hometown of George W. Bush: Midland, Texas. Enough said for an introduction. So far we've had only one practice session together that started almost as a joke, but we kept hitting on something awesome and decided to roll with it. We've been writing a metric shit-ton of songs, and plan on recording over spring break. We're at an advantage where we are, and saw an opportunity. There's no good music in our area, and lots of people want it and are waiting for it. Plus, we have a friend with a full-service recording studio, and plenty of venues desparate for bands. We want to start something new; we've got a philosophy, an attitude and a lifestyle, and we want people to know about it.

Are there some good venues to play in Midland ?
