I made some DIY bass traps a year ago.
![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us I got two like this one in each corner of the room and one half the I use behind my guitar amp. they are cheap to make compared to the foam or other acoustic products you can buy ready made but they are messy to create. there is a bundle of good youtube vids on how to making them and I just followed one of these tutorials as a rough outline of how to get mine working. as far as the sound in the room I can say they do work wonders in my room. but I could use a lot more of them to gain better results which I am not really after. I just need a room with the potential to mix a bit and record things proper without being much. I still live in the same room as I do my recordings . I have two rooms. a kitchen and a combined homerecording setup and a little place to sit and smoke and drink coffee in the corner. I will get rid of these when I move and make some new ones that are black and more sturdy and more nice looking when I get a chance to it ![]()
