I preferred sequel over the original. I found HO1KC to be a little farfetched.

the hurricane, a old movie with denzel washington about a boxer that gets wrongfully convicted of murder and spends almost 20 years in jail and having multiple trials before the truth came out and he was released.

It's a good film, but ya coulda just listened to the Bob Dylan song of the same title and saved yourself an hour.

Great visuals in search of an actual story.

Soundtrack was o.k. though.

The ham-fisted dialogue, the fact that characters representing key real-life figures like Donnie Rose and Hellin Killer were nowhere to be found, and the gross oversimplification/misrepresentation of events were too much for me. It was like one of those godawful Bruce Lee biopics cranked out by independent studios in Hong Kong and Taiwan during the '70s.
