I wouldn't worry about anybody getting hold of your IP address, as long as you don't have any servers or port listening software and/or a static IP there is very little one can do with an IP address other than locate your ISP. If it's that much of a concern this is a better solution. Tracker cookies on the other hand are a quite different matter.
