The only problem with the article was calling "Oi!' music "White Power" music when it is not. In fact, REAL Oi! music has ALWAYS been anti racist. It wasn't til the mid eighties that the neo nazis decided to co-opt Oi! as a recruitment tool.

I even read an interview w/Ian Stewart in the early eighties where he proclaimed that "Oi! music is the invention of the communist Garry Bushell who works for the jew financed Sounds magazine, so therefore, Skrewdriver does not consider itself an Oi band, although I know we have been referred to as an Oi band." Isn't it funny, how two or three years after that interview he teams up w/Rock-a-rama records in Germany to put out the three R.A.C. comps, "Oi! Oi! NO SURRENDER!"

I hate that stereotype too. The media can be so ignorant. You'd think that with how much these journalists make these days that they could at least spend some time finding out what the facts really are.
