Ideas for my newest jacket

so today I bought this jacket, and I have no clue which direction I should go with it. [I'm very indecisive]



any ideas?

Medals and Chevrons. (It looks very militaristic)

Paint patches, Yellow, Pink, Apple Green with all your favourite mottos including the fuck you ones, you badges collection, safety pins holding gigs flyers, nails, beer cans rings, at least that what i would do...

I have an M-65 Field Jacket that I want to do that to.
But I want mock-pins.

thanks for your input, I'm going to try some of this. I have another black and red leather jacket that has a bunch of badges and patches with a huge virus back patch on it.

The first thing I'd do is cover up the "lo-fi" written on the front of it with a band patch - it really looks out of place.

And other than that, I'd add a back patch, maybe an arm band and some buttons. I shot this video for Christ vs. Warhol and lead singer eveghost wore a similar jacket on stage and opted to go pretty minimalist with it:

I agree with keeping it simple, I hate jackets that turn into a giant cluster fuck of patches and shit. I'm thinking an arm band, back patch, maybe a few patches and call it good.

i love it when there is so much going on that you hafta look at it for like 2 minutes to actually see it all.

I mean, I like looking at other people's, it's just such a pain to own because I used to always lose shit from mine, so I just started making simple ones. I have 3 right now [including this one], and 1 clusterfuck jacket.

any ideas?

the only way to make that jacket decent is to rit dye it black (which will turn it gray). take sand paper to various spots to get some badass lookin' worn holes in it, or go outside stick your shoe/boot into certain spots a, grab tight and dag it through rugged blacktop. after doing so give it a coat of black spray paint. if your gonna patch it, either do a backpatch, or one or two regular patches. too many patches like the younger panx do looks fuckin' dumb. and use classic bands, no modern shit bands like nofx, or eastbay fucks 'cause then you'll just be associated the mall-rat shit panx. no studs, not on that kind of jack. just make it dark, torn, and abused.
