Snow Is Expected To Develop From Southwest To Northeast Across Interior Portions Of The Lower Hudson Valley And Southern Connecticut Thursday Morning. Periods Of Moderate To Heavy Snow Are Then Expected Thursday Afternoon....tapering Off By Thursday Evening. Heavy Snow During The Mid-afternoon Will Result In 4 To 6 Inches...and Total Accumulations Are Expected To Range From 8 To 10 Inches By The Time The Storm Ends. A Heavy Snow Warning Means Severe Winter Weather Conditions Are Expected Or Occurring. Significant Amounts Of Snow Are Forecast That Will Make Travel Dangerous. Only Travel In An Emergency. If You Must...keep An Extra Flashlight...food...and Water In Your Vehicle In Case Of An Emergency.
