Default How was your weekend?

How did your weekend turn out? What did you do?

Mine was pretty good. Friday hit the record store and hung out with a friend. Saturday hung out at home watching movies, Beneath planet of the apes, godzilla and the matrix. Today was cool, went out for dinner with friends and then just chilled in a parking lot talking about life and what not.

Mine was depressing. I watched the Academy Awards tonight and one of the actors I worked with 8 yrs. ago on some tiny little film that no one has ever seen was nominated for a Best Actor award for his performance in "the Hurt Locker".

Meanwhile, I'm still shooting tiny little films that no one ever sees.

I'm sorry. I know how it feels to see people you grew up with doing something with there life and your still stuck in a rut. Been there. haha. I read the hurt locker in high school, that book is depressing.

Edit: I'm confusing Hurt Locker for Lovely Bones. Lovely Bones is a sad sad book about a girl getting raped by her neighbor.

Meh, the academy wouldn't know real talent anyway. The only difference between you and the big boys is that you don't have an outrageous advertising budget and you're not part of their little clique.

Btw I had a great weekend. Went to see Dick Dale saturday night and made linguine today.

Friday I did a gig at just about the worst venue ever. The type of venue that when you walk in you allready feel like you don't belong there, no matter who you are, where you're from. As long as you're not from around you don't fit in. So we decided to sneak out early and just left haha.

Saturday I went to a wrestling show and got wasted, wrestling was awesome! One of the wrestlers learned me a move, but the only way you're getting to learn one of those is to endure it first. My chest is only just turning to it's normal colour again.

Sunday was a full day of sleeping in and a hungover bandpractice

It was a good weekend overall
