I'm guessing you can't upload mp3 files to a forum then... I actually do have a demo recording of a song I wrote on the laptop.

Or upload it to your profile and allow it to be downloaded

I don't think you can upload MP3s into the forum, but you can upload videos. You could also provide links to your MP3s, or, as Pete said, you could put said MP3 on your profile page.

Only bands can allow their music to be downloaded. Normal members can't.

You'll have to upload it to a file sharing service (as mentioned above) and post a link.
