I seen countless of them and I cant name one that I think is the best. I like them to be as violent and natural as possible and be about serial killers. I love Henry a Portrait of a serial killer and Texas chainsaw massacre but they are not the best horror I seen. just among the top hundred horror movies and ranking high.
I am tired of watching all that blood and gore sometimes so I like watching dramas where you see the whole movie from the court. I like the American law and order system on films but I am glad I am not having a legal system like that here. its just very interesting to see. I do not like action movies but sometimes I watch one. rambo or rocky or something like that. its mostly horrors I watch so I seen so many I cant even begin to remember half of them by now. the one I seen most times are Aliens. I know its a bit of a boring movie by todays standards maybe but I think its one of the best movies ever . there was one that came out in the 80,ties about a man who got a tentacle in his forehead and he killed people with it but I cant remember the title . was out around same time as the series of friday the thirteen and the night mare on elm street series. they where amazing too. but to name on single best horror title I cant. mostly American horror I watch or British and without subs. but I do like some horror from Japan as well. like itchi the killer. great movie. a real good horror does not have too be full of blood and gore but it has to be really well made to be scary if no actual violence are seen. if they lack story then gore is a good way to hide the fact the story is bad. I like both types of horrors. the bloody ones that are so bad that you can laugh at them and the ones that are really well produced and are scary but shows little or no gore. what is the best horror you seen. if one should be the top most finest best horror of all times what would that be ?

My favorite horror movie is Child's Play. It's real cheesy I know but I've always loved it.
Basically anything from the 80's and early 90's are awesome in my books. I'm actually watching The Stuff right now. Hilarious!

Danish movies sucks. I hate our own movie and music industry . so I tend to look for any movie with English language. australia are getting good at horrors too.

they could have made that one much more scary if they wanted to but it came out a bit superficial.

Night of the living dead (1968) is the best in my book, then I also like Diary of the dead, Return of the living dead (part 1) and Drag me to hell (though these are more comedy)

I'll second that. My other favorites are Isle of the Dead, Carnival of Souls and The Changeling.

Not a huge horror fan, but I do really like the original Frankenstein, but hey I'm a sucker for old movies. And I absolutely love the book too, so there's that.

James Whale always turned out an interesting product. I still wonder how Jack Pierce came up with the idea for Karloff's makeup, but I suppose that genius can rarely be explained.
