im having a problem burning a cd

haha i know it sounds funny. but on my last computer i burned a bunch of cds and they ended up being burned as files instead of an audio cd. now i can only listen to them on a computer. i tryed to make a play list on i tunes to burn a cd but every time i try to burn it the files are gone cause i took the cd out to put in a blank. any body know how i can do this???

I know that my iTunes is temperemental (I have a Mac). But what I do is create a playlist, then click burn, then don't put the blank disc in until you are prompted to ie iTunes says something like "you need to insert a disc" then just let itunes do it's thing. Hope this helps.

ive been trying to do that but when i take out the disc it says it cant find the files even though i made the play list (and i WISH I HAD A MAC)

Are you using matches or a lighter? You might need a propane torch for the tough ones. Seriously, what software are you using to burn, and what operating system are you running?

I think what you gotta do is transfer the files from the CD to the Computer first. Either that or you can leave one CD in one of the drives and put a blank CD into the other drive... I think it should work.

i only have 1 drive it is a lap top, and i tryed it on itunes, and on windows media.

Are the songs you want to burn saved as mp3s on your hard drive?

I despise Itunes, it's bloatware, it wouldn't be on my system if it wasn't necessary for my Iphone. I use Winamp or Nero Burning Rom.
