here is a picture i just did in sumi-e fasion with a pencil because i was too lazy to crush up some ink, the trees would have come out better with a brush.

Hey, that's still kick ass! I've always wanted to try working with inks. How do you like them? Do you work with just black or colors as well?

i only use black, it's alot like painting with water colors, i just seem to have a better time with it. all you have to do is learn how to master the basic brush strokes and how to load your brush with different shades on different parts of the brush, and you can put together real nice compisitions., if you really wan't to give it a try i can give you some advice on what kinds of brushes you'll need.

I wish I had an artistic bone in my body somewhere, so I could do something artistic.

Sure! I'd love some advice. I suck ass when it comes to painting w/ water colors. I usually just stick to acrylic and I've been playing around w/ oils.
