Jericho's Echo: Punk Rock in the Holy Land

I was floored by it, from the documentaries and articles I read about Israel. I was under this impression they were all into conformity, military, being right, and religion. I'm not sure why I wouldn't believe there would be some kind of a punk culture there..... Not ever hearing of one there isn't really an excuse either but still...ugh....I feel so ignorant.

I used to talk to some people from Israel a couple years ago, they were all in bands then. Wonder if any of them appear in there:eek:

Do you know what happened to them? I think it'd be cool to get in touch with em' again, if they were or weren't. There's a name for every punk sub root. I don't think labels beyond punk should matter since it only seems to segregate us further.

Agreed, this is just punk at in its purest form. I'll e-mail them and see if they are alive

-_- That sounds so bad...I know its true but the fact they wake every day not knowing if that day will be there last..there's something so fucked up about that.
