You'll lose weight faster if you eat a balanced diet, and exercise. You should eat carbs about an hour before you work out (I have 2 waffles, but whatever you like, just go easy on the sweeteners). Hydrate while you work out at a rate of about a liter of water for every 15 minutes of excercise. After you're done working out, recover with a meal that has a balance of carbs & protein (like your tuna sandwich). Keep hydrated throughout the day. If you don't give your body something to burn, it'll eat your muscle before it eats your fat, and store even more fat.

Portion control and at least half an hour of jogging or walking is what worked for me. I don't restrict any food, although I do try to stay away from trans fat.

Tuna is high in mercury and acts as a poison if too much is ingested - a little of it is good for you though. You should eat five meals per day with smaller portions, and be sure that it is actually food, not the garbage that is called food much of the time. Do not eat "diet" food, being that much of it contains poison and neurotoxins, and studies have shown that much of it actually causes people to gain weight after a while. Stay active as much as possible throughout the day. Also, stay positive as much as possible, being that elevated mood directly correlates to a healthy physical self.

"Tuna" on the basis of "being tuna" is not high in mercury. Albacore can be, but light tuna is not. Light tuna is considered to be one of the fish meals with the lowest amount of mercury.

HOORAY TOXICVOMIT FOR DEALING IN HALF-TRUTHS!

I eat shitty greasy food all the time! So yeah, it worked for me. I don't know how good your metabolism is though. I'd still say give it a shot if everything else doesn't work. I know that humans evolved to walk long distances so running is really just extra effort that puts stress on the body.

That or you could do crack like previously stated :)

I was put on psycho meds that increased my blood sugar. I gained ten pounds in one week and realized I needed to not take in a lot of useless sugar-- so I started drinking diet sodas and lost those ten pounds.
Then a little more than a year ago they gave me a check up and I was like 230 pounds and had high blood pressure. I went on a diet of lentils and brown rice and lost the 30 pounds extra that was causing the bad health. I ate a small breakfast, skipped lunch, which I've done for years, and cooked brown rice and lentils four nights a week and ate with my parents the other three nights. Gradually I began to do stuff to make the rice and lentils tasty. I added chicken, curry, and sesame seed oil, and it was pretty damned good food. I have had to adapt my diet back to normal after my girlfriend moved in, but I'm still at around 200 pounds, which is quite acceptable for someone my age. I looked really good, though, when I was 175.

When I was put on 200mg Prozac I gained like, 30 pounds within a year.
