i just got this channel, it's renewed my faith in tv.

I don't watch a ton of TV anymore. Sometimes I watch the news on BBC but I was mostly watching Rome and Big Love. I usually buy or rent series so I don't get turned into a TV Zombie.

but do you get current... , it's stories that are made bt the people for the people, i'm hooked. the stories are only like 7 minutes long so when my kid's shows go to commercial i can flip to current and get some informaion, i just love it

That sounds cool as shit. Who's your cable company?
I'm really into the channel CCTV which is a news outlet from Beijing. They do a lot of world culture features which I love because I'm an Anthropology student. They even cover American news, usually more in-dept than the media here.
As for shows in general, I just started watching Meerkat Manor on Animal Planet.
