Casting Street Punks for comedic Web Series. Cross between Suburbia, Dazed and Confused and Degrassi.

Shoot is for this Friday April 17th. Immediate casting.

No initial pay. If we like you, it'll be a recurring and paying part.

Compensation is copy, credit and meal.

It's probably because both bands suck, so they figure if they play together, it'll just be one night of suck instead of two nights of suck.

It's pretty kind of them to do, really.

They posted a bulletin about it a while ago asking if the fans would mind if they played with the Casualties because they know so many people hate them. I guess Leftover Crack are pretty good friends with the Casualties.

I despise the Casualties, but LOC is pretty decent. You're entitled to your opinion though.

That's cool I guess...It's kinda like what if Crass played with the Exploited...You're gonna have street punks heckling the crusties and crusties heckling the street punks...It'll be kinda funny actually. Two groups, notorious of being "punk police" trying to police each other...There's gonna be some good fights. Now, who's opening for who?

Haha! I try to see Leftover Crack whenever they're near me but I'm not so sure this time. I don't really have a problem with the Casualties but I don't want to be surrounded by their fans. Who would want to be in a room with people who think that is good music?

The only Casualties song I halfway enjoy is "Nightmare", mainly because I like the intro riff. Their fans are fucking dumb, I do know a lot of them...But then again, using the Casualties as a launching pad into the world of punk music isn't bad...They kinda serve the same purpose as GBH, The Exploited and The Misfits for the new kids...Eventually they will grow up.

Get back in while you're still young, or you'll miss out on many valuable years of punk. If you don't go back to school now, when you hit your late 20s and early 30s, you won't be ready to be the jaded middle-aged punk stereotype that so many people are.

Some of my friends like the Casual Ties...I don't really avoid them, mainly because I can't. They'd probably try to stab me with their big spikes or something. I didn't get into LOC until later. For me, my music evolution was Hip-hop-Thrash metal-British punk-Hardcore-Crust-Crossover Thrash...I like LOC because they blend different styles together relatively seamlessly and I agree with a good amount of their politics...But the one thing I will say is that some of their fans are just as bad as Casualties fans...

I love the pianos and infusion of classical music in LOC. Sometimes I hear it and think, "god that sounds awful!" and sometimes I think, "this is the best idea ever!" I agree with a good amount of their politics as well. I took my mom to an LOC concert once and she actually agreed with some of that as well. Like the world being overpopulated...
