uhhh.

prolly the breifs, last december.

they were booked to fill a gab in their tour schedule, so our local punk promoter got them into this two bit bar where the scene here used to congregate. it was awesome, they totally sold it out and played on a 10 inch high stage to about 100 folk. i was front and center, got to sing a bunch of songs with them and hang out after the show.

so aye, that may well be my fave show ever. the scene here isnt that big, events like that are pretty rare.

I saw THOSE UNKNOWN at the Jury Room in Santa Cruz for free not too long ago. It was fucking amazing. They are my favorite band of all time and there were about 30 people max at the show. Nothing finer.

I haven't been to a show in a while, but the last show I went to was at a now retired venue by the name of Shady Acres in downtown San Jose,CA. The venue was literally smaller than my studio apartment, pretty intense. The featured bands were Verbal Abuse and Ribzy. I stayed for the first couple bands, and hooked up with a friend later and decided it would be more fun to try and fit her bike into my tiny honda, and go to my pad and drink, which we did. Right now I'm really anticipating the Cramps show in Santa Cruz near the end of the month.
