I stopped listening to them after Spicy left. The only album of theirs that I own would be their first which I bought like a decade ago.
i doubt i'll listen to it. i lost interest in the dropkicks a fair wee while ago. theyre pretty generic now.

its sad to say that even though their new album is good, it sounds the same as the last couple theyve had, they used to have such a different sound, but they haven't done anything new......it sucks........i still love em though.

I stopped listening to them when I had to start paying 25 bucks a ticket. But if you go, make sure to bring your binoculars.... Wondering when they'll be hosting their own hour on MTV like that douche bag Henry Rollins.
And to think I was a HUGE Dropkicks fan....damn i'm bitter.

They're supposed to be touring over here before the end of the year (dates tbc) then doing another longer tour come february before another longer US tour.
Love the new album, Flannigans Ball totally rules.

I see they announced the uk tour dates today. They're gonna hold off until the new year now. Still it'll be the first time i'll have seen them at the Barrowlands (2nd Feb) so that's cool.
Tix go on sale tomorrow which is good coz i get my Jobseekers allowance then so perfect timing.

Yeah i'm glad they did that tune too.
Much better than I'm Shipping Up To Boston.
I never liked the re-worked version of I'm Shipping up to Boston coz it could never compete with thier original Give 'em the Boot version.
I think they should do a few more songs like that.

My living room is covered in DKM and celtic memorabilia. I have a cool sign poster for the black out tour that says" Nice Livingroom" from James. I haven't heard too much of the new album does sound the same as the last ones though still a fan regardless

I hate that song. I really do... and I hate the Movie too (The Departed). It has created many idiots that claim to be big Dropkick fans. I am not too much of a fan, just because I could never pay that kind of money for a ticket with all of the jackasses that go to their shows. It is really bad in Boston because you have the idiots that are convinced they are super Irish and just drink and try to act like tough guys. It ruins it.
