No, no... He's not part-time. He's temporary. Part-time would imply that he only doesn't eat meat some of the time. He doesn't eat meat at all right now.

The whole part time vegetarian thing is just a joke to me. It's just half assing something. Something that I have committed to and he's just making a joke out of it.

The other night I was in the mood for a Ceasar salad, & I didn't know if the fish in the dressing was enough to make it not vegetarian, so I had the chef add bacon.

As much as I think Colin's a dumbass, I really think you're misunderstanding him.

I think by "trying it for awhile" he means to say that he is doing just that: He's trying it. He wants to be a vegetarian, but he's not sure if he can do it. However, he is trying to do it, thus he is "trying it for awhile". If that works out, he might continue.

And even if he was only intending to do it for awhile, what's the big deal? Some people need to modify their diets for awhile.

First you'd have to get a clue... Then learn some things about the world... Oh, and how to spell things, and the difference between homophones - you know, like except and accept (which, honestly, shouldn't be homophones, but due to the way they tend to be pronounced by the average person, they have become such).

We should let him know... Typing doesn't count. I mean, I'd be really skinny if it did.

Exercising his brain would also not count. Though, to be fair, it would help him in the long run.

Anyway, besides the whole "exercise is good" bit, I was more referring to the fact that a lot of non-meat eaters fill their diets with soy products. An excess of soy protein makes your thyroid function slow down... And hence, gaining weight is actually quite possible while on a vegan or vegetarian diet.

True although I did lose about 10-15 after a month or two of no meat...but it might have had something to do with my auto-immune disease.
