Recently, someone very close to me was abused by their caretaker, someone who we trusted and knew for a number of years. the person close to me is both physically and mentally disabled and cannot care for themselves. I am afraid of whats going to happen to them once their parents get too old to properly care for them. as my faith in the health care system has been badly shaken, and I myself for several reasons cannot take on the role of caregiver, has anyone ever been in this situation? Im looking for some advice.
