if by dead you mean massproduced and exploited by the man.. then yea some of it is dead.. but who gives a fuck i listen to what i want to listen to and punk as a music genre will never die.. punk as a mindset will never die.. now punk as a "fashion" now i think that's definitely dead.. i can only see little kids with leather jackets and torn up jeans (torn on purpose as to look harder) so many times before i get a knee jerk response. Long live punk
oh and cockney rejects and verbal abuse are pretty cool.. some others too but i can't think right now it's drinking time

punk is by far not dead. I watched a punk show under a freeway bridge by a broken down factory a couple months ago. It is by far as badass as ever. You just need to know where to look.
