I'm not sure if they'd appeal to most of the people on this forum (they'd be considered more art-punk/deathrock instead of straight up punk), but Scarlet's Remains is one of my favorite newer bands:

I've seen them locally about a half a dozen times, they recently finished their 2nd album, 'the Palest Grey' and are currently touring in Europe. Their lead singer eveghost is incredibly energetic and dynamic on stage - unfortunately the microphone doesn't adequately record the intensity she brings to a live show.
