Yeah, and hell, the music isn't all bad. I really enjoyed the last My Chemical Romance album because it's got the whole Queen vibe going. I even bought it. Does that make me a scene kid? No. Hell, I don't know if I'd call myself punk. The local punks tend to accept me because most of them like my band and know I like a lot of the same music and shit. The scene kids all like me cause I'm regarded as a nice guy and I don't generally hate they're music even though it's not my thing.

I just try to find the good in people, no matter who they are. I don't consider myself to be part of any social strata.

It's exactly that, SELF mutiliation. I did it for years. I have scars all over my body from it. Finding help is hard. Especially when you have parents who laugh at you when you tell them you're depressed. You try telling someone something you've been bottling up for a while and then get put down. See how that feels. We've all partaken in some form of self injury in our lives. Maybe yours was drinking or drugs or sex or anyother form of sabotaging yourself.

To be honest what a person classifies as 'a bad life' depends on how they have grown up. Its all relative on how that person thinks about things.

I will use me and my brother as examples. Someone berates my brother, he does not give a shit. He ignores it and the comment and the person who said it is forgotten about.
Someone says something negative to me, on the other hand, i beat myself up over why someone things so negatively about me. What did I do to make someone thing like that towards me? How could I be so stupid to let them think that about me? I'll still be thinking of the incident hours after it happened.

It could be the same thing said to me and my brother, yet we both cope very different. He was a popular guy as a kid, I was a loner who rarely left the house.

Whilst I am not so bad anymore, I can see why 'emos' get upset over stupid things. If they have had the 'perfect life' then scratching a favourite cd may be simply awful for them. Don't judge because they haven't had the life experience to put something so trivial into perspective.

My mum used to be like that. Again, if its all you have experienced, you don't know any different, and you just live with it. I used to have to do loads of house work, as did my brother. I told my friends, and they were all 'omg, your not their slave'. To be honest, it gave me a good work ethic, and I've worked since i was 14. The friends that made a big deal about 'chores' are now unemployed.

It's exactly that, SELF mutiliation. I did it for years. I have scars all over my body from it. Finding help is hard. Especially when you have parents who laugh at you when you tell them you're depressed. You try telling someone something you've been bottling up for a while and then get put down. See how that feels. We've all partaken in some form of self injury in our lives. Maybe yours was drinking or drugs or sex or anyother form of sabotaging yourself.
