Can we raise the dead and bring people like Stiv Bators and Rozz Williams back to life? And if we did raise them from the dead, would they be flesh eating zombies? 'Cause if they were flesh eating zombies, that would kind of defeat the purpose since they'd just eat their bandmates and put an end to their reunion tour.

Who am I kidding? I'd love to see The Yardbirds again, I'd pick them over a reunited Cream. And Husker Du, they did reunited but it was only for one show, and it wasn't announced, and it would be great to see them together. A Treepeople reunion would be great too.

Yeah I know, I'm suprised no one's ever thought to reunite the Yardbirds, I mean, they did launch the careers of Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, and Jimmy Page. Although its inaccurate to refer to them as a "supergroup" because in the entire band's history none of them were ever in the band together at the same time.

I just remember seeing him on the MTV Video Awards with this look on his face that said "Jesus, what do these people want from me?" and the whole Soy Bomb guy didn't help any....but that was...92? 94? It was a while back.

Haruki Murakami said that Bob Dylan "Sang like a child watching the rain." I feel like he's kinda lost that, then again thats just my opinion. Then there was the 80s...The 80s weren't kind to Mr. Dylan.

Speaking of folk music, did anyone know that Denny Doherty of The Mamas And The Papas died like recently?

Every opportunity you have to needlessly shit on and destroy people you gladly take. For the tiniest mistakes you damn people to eternity. I think that's just wrong and unfair.

What you do is hardly survival. More like sport(and only for the thrill of the hunt).

You're a fascinating character jon.

He likes to get reactions out of me, so I return the favor.
Sometimes he is funny, which I can miss the humor sometimes, but most of the time he's pretty serious. And when he's serious, being an empathatic person, I try to see his point of view. If it's bullshit I call him, again returning his favor. I do not hate him, it's not in my capacity to. I see the good and bad in everybody. I'm sure he won't waste his breath hating me. He's a fighter and that's admirable. He's also good at detective type work. I only wish he was more open minded as I'm sure he wishes I would get more of my facts straight before I start rambling. I think we've gotten along quite well the past few weeks. So jon, lets just fuck and get it over with.

The Bruisers

Moonstomp

Kicker Boys

Arresting Officers

Close Shave

You can try and catch Storm Officers play. If you haven't heard about the project it's one member of Arresting Officers with most of the guys from Stormwatch. I keep missing my chances to see them, but I hear it's pretty damn good.

Moonstomp

Kicker Boys

Arresting Officers

Close Shave

I know two of these bands quite well.

The Kicker Boys will sadly never, ever reunite. I hadn't seen any of these guys in years and I mean a lot of years.

The Moonstomp guys have all gone separate ways. Each time I see one of 'em I still ask about a reunion. Oddly enough they did one in '93 if memory serves and I believe that was also the last night Jack The Lad played as well announcing they were splitting up also. Jack The Lad was a great band that Gary and Townsend formed after Moonstomp split up with Mark from The Glory. Either band (Jack The Lad or Moonstomp) reuniting would be like pulling teeth according to Gary last time we spoke.

Hey Bunnie,

Alice In Chains are back together with the guitarist William "Kip" Duvall from Neon Christ and B'last! on vocals! I'm not a A.I.C. fan but I know his past and I've heard several revues that he has the ability to take the band somewhere tangible again and not have it as a cabaret type thing.

I'm actually seeing the band that I most wanted to get back together. I have tickets to see the New York Dolls in Anahiem at the House Of Blues in March.

I'll be the first to say it's not really the same, hell I won't even lie I have a "man crush" on Johnny Thunders and him, Jerry, and Arthur not being there do make it vastly different. But that is unavoidable, they're dead! And I really loved "One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This", so I'm still really happy to be seeing them.

3 white power bands and a ska band. Too bad they couldn't share the same bill if resurrected.

White power bands are pretty fucking retarded.

Actually, that's an insult to actual retarded people. Severely retarded people, provided they can talk, can usually make more sense and could probably write more intriguing lyrics and music.

I don't understand how someone can listen to BFG or Skrewdriver and then pop in some Desmond D. Contradictory, to say the least.

Retarded people are not retarded by choice. It's not their fault.

The same way I can put Jewdriver, NWA, The Oppressed and Squadron on one comp. Music is music. I don't listen to it for a sermon or direction, if it sounds good, I'm gonna listen to it. Contradictory would be if I was white power and listened to Desmond D or Communist and listened to Skrewdriver.

Skrewdriver were good musically and live, but their lyrics...sounds like rants from a 4 year old.

None....

Who am I kidding? I'd love to see The Yardbirds again, I'd pick them over a reunited Cream. And Husker Du, they did reunited but it was only for one show, and it wasn't announced, and it would be great to see them together. A Treepeople reunion would be great too.

Which batch of Yardbirds are we talking about here?
I mean I love all the versions, but I always thought they were best when Jeff Beck was in the group.
