Well, sort of! :)
You can change your display name by going to SETTINGS and then PROFILE SETTINGS. This is still work in progress as you will notice if you are not logged in you will see your old display name. You will share the new name with the old name until we fix it. So, we are half way there!

It is all about code. We have to have it work on all aspects of the site.

Good. I prefer to be Skully, not SkullyHB. I've always been Skully. I was Skully before the internet, but another Skully got to this site first.
Here's an interesting conundrum though - when I signed up, there was already a Skully. Through some sort of glitch in the signup process, I somehow changed his picture to mine (I've since changed my pic). So, since I changed my display name to Skully, there are now two of me, but we're different people.
I guess as long as he (the other me) never posts to the forums, everything will be ok. But if he does, I fear a rip in the space time continuum. You may want to have Bill the Dev brush up on his quantum physics and code a workaround just in case.

Well, so far, the display names aren't showing on the forums, so we're good, Skully!

I was smoking / thinking about this last night. A simple test, or 'reality check' in the forum initialization routine might avoid the destruction of the universe:
if not (E=m*c^2) then
exit sub
end if
A simple 'on error resume next' might work as well, but if you fell into a loop, lord knows what would happen. Especially if the universal constant was declared as a variable.
It's all about code...

PLEASE.
Don't ever do that again.
