View Full Version : The "dot" in a link gets separated when copied

When I copy a message with a link, it results in the rest of link separating after each period (or "dot") after I paste it and post the new thread, in turn ruining the link.

example: www.punkrockers.com would become www. punkrockers. com

where are you copy and paste-ing it?

Right into the main message box......I then click submit.

It often depends on where you are copying it from. It may not be a site issue, so much as where you are copying the link from.

I've copied links from a myspace comment before, pasted them directly into my address bar and have had that happen.

Yes....I'm beginning to notice that - I've just been trying to scan what I paste now to see if any links need to be fixed.
