i would want to vote twice. once for 360, once for wii.

its really only between 360 and ps3 cause the wii is so completely different.
and id pick 360 purely on cost.

360 is the best, Wii could compete with it but the 360 has way better games

the ps3 is just a piece of shit

The PS3 has a whole bunch of good games coming out this year but up until now they've had pretty much nothing. Almost all good games they had were also available on the 360. The 360 has many more quality games as of right now.

The PS3 is way prettier, and has a little bit of an edge on the graphical side. It isnt as noisy as the xbox360 either, and it has a free internet service. It has a longer lifetime then the xbox 360 too.

Only thing id wish it had is Gears Of War.

Based on reviews the 360 has 152 quality games, the PS3 has 69, and the Wii has 33.

The 360 and the PS3 are both amazing to play. I gotta stick with the PS3 though. I like the controller better. Price doesn't matter to me because I won't buy one until they are about to come out with whatever is next. I got my PS2 for 130 USD It came with 2 controlers, 2 memory cards and 5 games. right when they started hyping the PS3.

I would have to disagree. The Xbox 360 controller is the most comfortable controller I've held. And I hate how the buttons on the PS controllers are shapes instead of letters. It makes me have to look down at it every time it says to push a certain button. Then again I'm just not accustomed to the shape layout because I never have the desire to play PS games. Xbox all the way!!!

Yeah I could see that but they never changed it from the original and I'm used to it.

I like Wii because its more interactive than the other two.
I also like the fact that nintendo doesn't charge for internet access and the Wiimote makes for much easier 'point and click' capabilities..

Plus... Zelda has always been my game since it first came out in the 80s.
I haven't played a single one that has dissapointed me..

360:
An ok system. Sure it sells a lot but considering it's from Mircosoft, it sucks. Seriously, I have never seen a system that can have so many hardware failures. And what's funny is that some of the hardware failures aren't even covered by the warranty. Don't get me wrong, I love the games like Gears of War, Mass Effect, etc. They're great and the Xbox Live is a pretty cool setup. In terms of hardware, terrible. In addition, backwards compatibility on it is not that great. The controller is a huge improvement from Xbox, I love the controller.

Plus, any company that charges $180 for an "official" 120GB hard drive, when you can get one for $70 is a company that seriously needs to rethink it's business structure.

PS3:
Basically, it sucked in the beginning, but now things are getting better. Great interface and easy to use. Game library is getting there finally. Cheapest bluray player and I love the Folding@home application. Plus, the failure rate of it is much lower than that of a 360, so that's a plus. And the backwards compatibility is still great on it. Still needs to get more good games. The SIXAXIS controllers suck. Too light and easy to break. One drop and it's done.

Wii:
A great price! However, buying the separate pieces for the controllers sucks and expensive. In the end, very innovative and fun to play with all your friends. However, the games for it suck. Don't get me wrong, I like Wii Sports, Wario Ware, and all those cool party mini games, but it gets to a point where it's like enough with the mini game crap, give me a story to follow and something that doesn't look kiddy or simple. And virtually no 3rd party support which kind of sucks. I'm getting tired of playing Mario and Zelda games and all of Nintendo's games. And the online play (if you want to call it that) sucks and friend codes sucks.

Overall, I got to go with PS3. Because if you ever played Heavenly Sword in HD...fuck. I'm sold.

aside from Mario Party 8 and WarioWare... they're pretty much ALL 3rd party..

The problem with Wii is that they have virtually no product quality control, which makes them an easy target for small companies that make shitty 3rd party games.. Thats why there are so many bad reviews.

Nintendo itself releases some pretty great games, I myself have been addicted to Super Smash Bros Brawl for the past month. Theres also games like Metroid Prime 3 (fucking awesome) Resident Evil 4 Wii edition (great game, very challenging) Prince of Persia: Rival Swords (still can't beat it.. great storyline)..

My PS3 controller has gone on the floor a couple of times, its solid.

Dont think its bad either but thats probably since i have PS, PS2. PS3. The 360 controller is more comfortable though.

Nintendo does not screen games. Both Sony and Microsoft have review boards to try and weed out any horrible games. Nintendo does not feel they need to because the Wii targets a wider audience.

The majority of the good games out for the Wii are all made by Nintendo. There are some exceptions like No More Heroes but there are not many good 3rd party games.

Really? So now we're calling ports 3rd party support? Alright that's cool, I guess. I guess Resident Evil 4 was good for the Wii but why should people spend another 40-50 bucks for a game that many people already own for the past year on the PS2 or Gamecube? Same with Prince of Persia, I already own it on PS2 so why should I paid for it again? At full price no least for a game that is like 2 years old. And just for a little gimmick like a flick of the wrist or stabbing motion or whatever.

Don't get me wrong, Nintendo releases good games but I'm just fuckin' tried of them saying "Oh yeah we're gonna work to get rid of our kiddy image and bring more mature themes" when they just do shit like Friend Codes and Zack and Wiki(which is a good game, of course). And then they say "Yeah we're gonna bring in more 3rd party support until the Gamecube" and look at where we are at. A lot of talk and a lot of ports. And some very terrible ports with downgraded graphics like Far Cry.

Really? So now we're calling ports 3rd party support?

What are you talking about?
Thats what their called!

a 3rd party game is software that is made by a developer not directly tied to the primary product that the consumer is using.
