Over the past thirty years D.O.A. have released 12 albums and sold one million copies during their storied career. Band Leader Joe Shithead Keithley has gone on to start his own label Sudden Death Records and, with members of D.O.A, started a side project called Band of Rebels. Keithley captured his musical history in his Canadian bestseller autobiography I, Shithead - A Life In Punk (Arsenal Pulp Press). In 2003, Vancouver Mayor Larry Campbell declared December 21st to be "D.O.A. Day" in honor of the bandís 25th anniversary.

I've always thought that the older these guys get, the better their live performances are. The last time I saw them play was in SF. Jello popped in (since he lives in the city) and performed "Full Metal Jackoff" with them. It was a great show.... Joe sang the first song of the set holding a giant flaming cross.... good times.

I must've seen DOA at least a dozen times over the years and only once did they ever disappoint me.

ive seen doa a bunch of times...they live close to here.
the 30th anniverasry show was at lucky bar though :|

I was going to go to that, but the Dayglos were playing too, so no dice.
