AFI - Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes

I loved this album. I know that AFI headed in the wrong direction, but I think that SYMAOYE is one of the best hardcore albums I've listened to. It has a lot of shouted vocals, a lot of fast guitars, an epic cover of Today's Lesson, and it is in general a great album to break stuff to

Their stuff prior to SYMAOYE is pretty decent too, but SYMAOYE is still my favourite.

AFI is a killer band, from the beginning to now! Davey is super talented and just matures artistically venting through his music as do a lot of artists. That is one band that I can jam anytime and not get tired of.

I plugged AFI in to pandora the other day expecting to hear some good West coast hardcore or horror punk. The first three artist that came up were Offspring (a newer song, not even their good old stuff), Rise Against (who I dont hate, but im not a particular fan of), and My Chemical Romance (Not a fan). I immediatly changed to my Misfits station.
