Lime in Hair

Everyone always talks about how the Britons of olde put lime in their hair to spike and bleach it so spiking has a historical precedent blah blah blah.

But can you actually still do that, practically? I mean, bleaching and spiking at the same time seems pretty convenient.

be aware that it is not the lime fruit. its something else they used called limewater.

I actually tried for the fun of it to see what happened washing hair in juice from a limefruit. it does not bleach or make it anything less than hard to spike the hair. good thing was that all the gel I had in the hair washed out pretty easy and the hair smelled nice for a little while. it does provoke a good bath withing long I think. :)
