Because I know for the most part this group is pretty diverse, what kind of music do you like to listen to when you're just sipping some coffee or wine and having a smoke? For me it's Frank, you can't beat Frank when it comes to that kind of music. But I'll listen to a bit of "classical" from time to time.

I like Bedouin Soundclash a lot, but others are Bright Eyes, Rocky Votolato, Bob Dylan for acoustic. I like Explosions in the Sky and A Silver Mt. Zion for something different.

Yeah nobody can play a ballad like the Stones! But then again the Stones are one of those bands I've loved for as long as I can remember.

when I really wanna mellow out I just throw on my copy of Dark Side of the Moon.

only problem, flipping the damn thing over. I love the sound vinyl gives you, but that gets a little annoying at times.

Yeah I know, I have something like 120 records and there is just this charm to them that modern technology can't duplicate. I have one of the original copies of Some Girls, the one that had Luciel Ball and Mark Spitz on the cover.

I got lucky, friends of my parents gave me mine when they were cleaning out their garages. The last record store in my town just went under five years ago. Antique stores and thrift stores can have something worth getting once in a while.

I ritualistically listen to the Sonic Youth album, "Sister", when I feel very chill. I also prefer to listen to eerie music like Bauhaus or 60's rock when I'm kickin' back and drawing or just unwinding.

Im guessing 'burning from the inside'.The earlier ones are abit raw for mellowing out to.Or how about abit of Love and rockets, they are good!

the Slackers or Bob Marley, and stuff Johnny Cash did on American Recordings, amongst other things. I like the smashing pumpkins and nirvana unplugged as well.

I don't have any specific music that I listen to when I chill. It's pretty much the same music I always listen to, but not as much hardcore or metal.

Chris Isaak is good mellow music.. Wicked Game is one of the chillest rock albums ever. Dude got huge off that album.

If its a gloomy day..any good post punk - darkwave record will do the trick

but on more chill sunny days.. classic ska would be the way to go

Actually it never really occured to me until the other day, some of the Black Crowes stuff is great if you just want to relax. Mostly their mid to late 90's stuff, Three Snakes and One Charm is a great album.
