i was thinking the same thing although his purposely sloppy and minor ridden soloing makes me think he was trying to pick up where flag and Keith left off...and im not bitching. I really really like their sound.

It looks to me like they might be purposely giving Greg Ginn a fuck you message. Considering both Keith and Raymond Pettibone ( Greg Ginn's brother) have/had major issues with him. I say more power to them. I just listened to the first four Ep and there isnt a bad cut on it.

Ginn is a stuffy twat...and i think Keith is taking a jab at him. i think it was the fact that Keith did Flag...he left and did circle jerks (nothing like flag) and Flag did shit with everyone and their mother til they landed on Rollins but Flag never sounded the way they did with Keith again.

there was an entire group of fans shunned from the jump, they were given a taste of something brilliant, got on board then the whole thing went to shit and left em hanging...alot werent happy with circle jerks or black flag as a substitute...Keith just took 30 years to recognized what all those people PLUS all the people OVER the 30 year span had been waiting for...THAT ORIGINAL BLACK FLAG SOUND. so he got the right boys to do it, and then packaged it appropriately so people could instantly recognize it for what it is...this aint circle jerks, this is straight black flag style, see the bug spray? see the pettibon art..come and get it ..THIS is what you want!

pure fucking genius the limited presses sold out in a heart beat, and itunes is selling the first 4 eps like the cure for cancer. i cant stop listening to it and if it wasnt for the marketing behind it it may have flew under everyones radar. as much as Ginn would LOVE to sit back and revel in the vanity that he has anything to do with it i think its more about Keith giving the people the rest of what he started, coming full circle before he taps out..diabetes is kicking the shit out of him. im guessing anything from this point forward will be all about OFF! and then that will be it
