Man Its hard to believe that Joe has been dead for 5 Years. I remember I was working a Iggy Pop show that day and we were all like wow that really sucks.

Iggy came out and annouced that Joe had passed away we had a minute of silence and then Iggy Sung White Riot and London Calling.

For me it was like someone came up and kicked me the gut, we all shared our various Joe stories, he was one of a kind always took time to talk to all the fans never would turn down any request truely a Gentleman till then end.

We miss you Joe and could need use some of that Global Go-Go

I was the same...except it was vodka. Unfortunately for a couple of friends who came around to wish me "merry christmas" - they had to put up with hearing "White Riot" etc. played very loudly about 50 times running.

I will always kick myself to this day for this one. Friends of mine went to go see him in Boston about seven years ago. After the show they all decided to hit the local bar, and Joe shows about an hour later. Needless to say my friends spent the whole night right into the early morning hours getting shitfaced with Joe Strummer. Apparently he was a really cool guy, and I missed the whole experience. Dammit.

So because I'm in my twenties, I'm not only Moronic, but I don't know anything about "Punk History"? Is that what you're saying? That's got to be one of the dumbest things you've said yet...

Oh, and as for touring, I spent the first half of my life touring with bands and hanging out backstage at concerts regularly, having a father who was a lead guitarist, and I have done promoting for a good number of my friends' bands while touring with them, so don't think you're the only one around who's ever been on tour...

I'm not entirely sure...a lot of the time I just kinda skim certain people...as anyone who is a Literature Arts major (english, journalism, etc...) will tell you, there are certain things that just drive you crazy when you read...everything he writes bothers me "visually", but if something he says really catches my eye, I'll throw in my two cents about not only his inability to use proper grammer and spelling, but also his inability to make any sense whatsoever in his long-winded, mindless rants
