For the guitar aficionados, they already notice the Jessie's Girl chord change.

You should pick up Suffer. I think it's the best thing they've ever done. Everything after that, though, is just them trying to copy Suffer, or them letting Brian Baker write songs !!eek

That is very true. Ive always felt like theyve only put out one good album, and have just kept making copies of it since.

Leftover Crack did a tune using original lyrics but to the same music as jessies girl with the tempo speed up a bit. it was pretty good......

That seems to be the stock opinion. However. I don't agree. I prefer Stranger than Fiction, The Grey Race and New Maps of Hell to Suffer IMO.
I will agree that of the two new songs I've heard from this album. I ain't overly excited. I'll buy it any way as it can't possibly be worse than the last Rancid album and I bought that.

"Resist Stance" is an extraordinary stretch for Bad Religion; they have yet to record a song that sounds like this - they are pushing the boundaries with this one.
(Don't get me wrong, I like some of their stuff - especially their old material - but damn.)

I went to see them in London a couple of weeks back and the new songs gelled very well with the old. Well I thought so anyway. Their live sound was amazingly good with some real nice stereo panning of the guitars during the moody intro bits. I'm lookin forward to the new album now altho I think New Maps of Hell will be a tough one to top.

It takes a lot of guts to cover "Working Man" by Rush & try to pass it off as your own.
