Wasn't sure wether to post this under Sports, DIY (I built the mini ramp) or Self Promotion (I used my bands music so as not to get the vid removed because of copyright violations).

I went with sports.
This is a little film of my ten year old daughter skateboarding. She's been skating for just over 1 year. She nailed Rock to Fakie, Axle stall and little 50/50 grinds along the coping on smaller ramp a couple of days after I finished the film.

That´s a very good use for a corner of a backyard. Good job, you´ve made your daughter exercize while having fun, the ramp looks pretty neat.

Heh heh, thanks. Altho I'm sure our neighbours think we're odd. Like they've moved in next door to the Munsters or something.

That's awesome!! Very nice ramp. Your daughter is totally rad. I skated a bit around ages 9-10, but didn't pick it up again til almost 10 years later. Never got very good, I'm afraid, but I hung out with basically all guy skaters so I think I just felt intimidated to try :/ Probably can barely stand up now, lol.

Right on. If she stays with it, this could be her future:

Wow. Male, Female, makes no difference, very few of us get that good.

I'm planning on taking her to watch this, the UKs only all girl skatejam http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSFsXm--Nqs next year. The bass player from my band lives about 5 minutes from this park, Also we know the girl who won the under 18's as she skates at our local park.

Hey how d'ya think I feel, this week my daughter became officially better than me. She nailed the only trick I could do that she couldn't (Rock to Fakie). Then within half hour she'd nailed Feebles, 50/50s, dropped back in from 50/50s, then did a grind on the coping. People can now say to me "you skate worse than a ten year old girl". I'm so proud.
