That must really p*ss the Nazis off. Arguably the biggest footballing superstar in our team is Drogba, he's a major star in Europe but a mega star in Africa. So the idea of white supremacists fidgeting awkwardly in their seats every time the guy scores (and he scores a lot) is quite comforting.

I like the sound of American armoured Rugby. If the yanks actually did a sport called American armoured rugby it'd probably be good. In my head each player would be driving a little go kart sized tank.
If there's one thing I like about America it's that they can take the weirdest of concepts or the most marginalised of sports and turn it into a world championships event with as much financial backing as it needs. We can't even adequately support kids league football in England, but you can bet if an American invented Pogo stick Tortoise ball they'd have the shiniest kit and an 80,000 seater stadium knocked up within a fortnight. It'd probably even get on some small TV stations "hello PSTB fans and welcome to the 2010 World Championships Tortoisebowl"

There´s logic in calling a game played mainly with your feet and in which you can not use your hands football. And not a much great one in calling a game played mainly with hands on a egg shaped object, that looks more like rugby than anything else, football too. The best way to solve this was to start calling american football soccer and soccer would be called football again like everywhere else. That´d fix things. After all the americans are already showing up in every world cup and all. :D
