is anyone watching this series? its on Sci Fi and I didnt catch part 1, but what I saw was really an interesting re-telling of TWOZ.

Yeah so far it's been really good. I am a huge Oz fan, I am kinda bugged out by them calling it the O.Z. though

yea, that was irritating. it kept reminding me of that stupid show The O.C.
i really like the evil witchs' costumes though.

Yeah that's exactly why it bugs me. Yeah Azkidellia is pretty hot, it also bugged me that no one I know could figure out why her name is D.G. But so far I have been impressed.

Dorothy Gail, right? although that kinda bugged me too, at first i thought they were saying DJ, but then every time i heard it i would thing "who the hell wants to go by D.G?"

Yes thank you. I don't know if I'm a fan of the CGI monkeys either, but there definately creepier than the original. It looks like they play the first two episodes before the 3rd so you can catch up.

well, CGI is nearly impossible to avoid anymore. sadly, people are just not up to the task of creating something scary llooking yet functional using special effects makeup and costumes. i think the flying monkeys look okay, i mean, theyre not painfully obvious the way a lot of CGI can be, atleast the special effects team paid attention to that. the last episode is tonight, right?

They are playing it again, from the beginning on Sunday. I think it starts at 5pm.
