They are an Oi! band from Belgium. The songs are some of the best in the genre and unlike most Oi! bands, the guitar solos are good enough to give Iron Maiden a run for their money.

My point is they are stellar, but fairly old (early 90's) and I was wondering if anyone had any info on the band.

I actually found their LP "No Holding Back" at the flea market for like $2.00 bucks. It's kind of scratched up, but plays all the way through...it's a decent album.

From what I hear The Pride had a hard time finding a record company to take them seriously. There has been talk about them getting back together to do a show with Funeral Dress...but it's just a bunch of talk right now.

I can't believe noone would take them seriously. That's retarded, I have about 4 albums of theirs (on MP3, not actually tangible) and they're all fucking great.

As for a reunion, I'd love to see it. But I'm pretty sure that'll never hit the US.

I'm pretty interested too. I'll inquire with some of my Belgian buddies.

If you have SoulSeek add username "Plan Z Oi!"

That's me. And I warn you RIGHT NOW that I have the most extensive collection of RAC you've ever seen in your life.

I say this because I love to share music, but I care not to hear accusations flying at me when folks see my band folders.

There's also a bunch of shit you wouldn't expect to see.... but The Pride is on there.

Download them and post back about how kick ass they are... cuz you will.

SoulSeek is for music only. They specialize in hard to find and moritorium stuff. If you like music, you need SoulSeek. Limewire and those other sites are also filled with viruses and spyware, I've never found any corruption in files from SoulSeek. And I've DLed prolly about three hundred gigs or so worth of music from it.

Although it is for music, there are some videos. I have a video folder with tons of old shit, like Geraldo. Hahaha!!! Buncha old BBC and documentary stuff too.

I only just started using SoulSeek last week and it seems pretty cool to me. Good choice of music and it's pretty fast. I'd recommend it:)

Just read the header skipped the later, Yeah I still have their 1st LP. I believe they were originally called the Mushrooms back in the late 80's or so. They went by something along those lines originally. Later on they released a split 45 with tracks from then and now. I still have the LP. The CD got swiped. They were quite good and if I'm not mistaken did or were scheduled for only one U.S. visit while they were active.
