question about making skinny jeans

ok, i remember i read on here that if you take a bath/ shower with your jeans on they will shrink to fit you "skiny" style. i dont remember what section it was in or who said it, but does anyone have any tips on this subject?

A bath? All i do is i put then on inside out and pull them tightly, then safety pin them, then sew along the line of the safety pins.

ha well yeah, this isn't for me lol i don't like skinny jeans, one of my friends is unnaturally tall and is having trouble finding jeans that fit, like i said i don't really know how it works, i just remember someone mentioned it... maybe bunny? not sure... trying to find a quick easy fix, preferably with out sewing.

go to a cowboy clothing store and ask. you don't have to buy anything just try some things on. they've been having their balls tucked away for years. or get some of those headbanging metal tights. but watch out. tight jeans can cause problems in blood circulation and fubar you badly. but on the up scale it causes the little swimmers not to produce so good. so you don't have to pull out anymore.

Yeah that's just going to make you wet and uncomfortable. I think you're remembering the Doc Marten thread where someone wanted to break them in and we told him to take a shower with them. That works. Showering with jeans on-no. There's no point coz washing them would do the same thing! Hot Topic has sales on good skinny jeans from time to time and even Wal Mart is starting to carry them. Back when they weren't in style, I just sewed the sides up from the knee down. That was easy and fast.

My thighs are probably fatter than most of your mid-sections. I only wear skinny or straight leg if I want to get them inside my boots.
I usually buy normal jeans and have them taken in below the knee to make them boot friendly.

In the 90´s I used to wear elasticity black jeans, it totally fits you and it´s cool for freedom of movement if you want the skinny tight pants look.

I have just done that with a pair of jeans. My legs tend to look like sausages if I wear skinny jeans. Its not pretty.

My mum has told me many times (I don't know why, think it's just a fond memory) that she used to sit in a bath of cold water to make her jeans skin tight "back in the day". I don't know whether it works, or she thought one day she might fool me into sitting in a cold bath for an hour but that's what I've heard.

I heard that if you put them through a hot wash they shrink, but a lot of clothing does that.
