I bought a sewing machine today and the thread on the bottom bobbin isn't catching so it won't sew anything. Does anyone know a way to fix this? :(

Well, I've had it happen to me before but it eventually caught. It can be a pain in the ass sometimes. I just asked my mom and she said it was possible that you have the needle in wrong.

It came with the needle already in it. I kinda expected this.. i bought it for $29.99 at Wally mart.

I've tried to be patient with the likes of sewing machines but I can't deal with the thread coming off all the time and junk my gf luckily has one and does a few alterations for me that a needle and floss are sometimes ot delicate enought for but I find the floss has always been the best quickest and collest looking way to alter your punk rock rags! I was pretty good with my rendering in the past and still enjoy it!

If you have a camera you should take a picture of how you thread the bobbin. I can't be sure of what's happening without a picture.

I just got back from returning it :D I threw-ed a fit in the middle of Wal mart.
