Tattoo power supply

My power supply broke so I riged one. Here's how to do so.

Go to walmart and get a chord with a voltage.
Cut the tip off, and strip to where it's at least 3'' of exposed wire.
Cut the needles off of 2 tat needles.
Wrap the exposed wire around the needles
Tape them up.
take a couple of layers of cardboard and sandwich it between the prongs.
Tape it up so it's tight.
Bend the prongs at right angles in opposite directions.

It works well and puts up to 12 volts which is more then need to tattoo with. Only problem is you don't have an on/off switch.

This is all fine although you could go anywhere local for the power supply all that wiring and you didnt get some merrets and splice in a simple switch to cut off the power and lastly anything other then cardboard might have been safer in case of a short!!

very true. I didn't use cardboard I used a rubber connector thingy. Either way it's just a temp fix.

Another way:

Get yourself an electric razor, an old one with one blade that goes from left to right. Take off the top cover, take out the blade and put a needle in the moving pin. Then just use that, a mate of mine did that and tattood himself, turned out pretty good

I know several ways to make a home mane machine, but I prefer the pro one I have. It works pretty well and can be converted from a liner to shader easily.

Good stuff, I still wouldn't tattoo myself though. Probably because I can't stay within the lines
